When you start a walk, GPS automatically tracks your route, recording the distance, duration, and the exact path you took. Walk data is shared in real-time with up to 5 family members, so you can easily see "Who took the dog out today?" and "How far did we walk this week?"
The map displays walking routes color-coded by day of the week, making it easy to visually review past walks. Weekly and monthly statistics, along with family rankings, turn walking habits into a fun, engaging experience.
PawPath also supports Apple Watch with hands-free gesture control, so you can start and stop recording without touching the screen. Perfect for when you're holding a leash.

Live Walk Route Sharing
Family members can follow the current location and the route so far on an in-app map, in near real time. When someone in your family is out walking the dog, everyone can see roughly where they are. Note: not available while recording on Apple Watch alone.
Poop Log
Record whether your dog pooped on each walk. A badge on the home screen shows today's status at a glance, so you can tell whether someone in the family has already taken care of it. You can change the record later from the history screen.
Who Walked Together
After saving a walk, add the family members who came along from the history screen, so you can keep a record of who joined each walk.
Start/Stop Correction
If you forget to stop the recording and haven't moved for more than three minutes, PawPath notifies you and lets you correct the end time. If you forget to start, it can estimate the start time from the route on the map and your average pace.
Data Export
Export your recorded walks to a file. Open it in Excel or Google Sheets to analyze, or keep it as a backup. Choose all time, this year, or a custom date range.
Apple Watch Support
Start and stop walk recording from your Apple Watch. Supports gesture control for completely hands-free operation. No need to take out your iPhone while holding a leash. Walks recorded on Apple Watch are also saved to the Health app as workouts.

How do I record a walk?
Simply tap the "Start Walk" button on the app's home screen or from your Apple Watch. GPS automatically tracks your route, and when you press the stop button, your walk data is saved. You can also start recording from widgets and Live Activities.
Can I see where my family is walking right now?
Yes. Family members can follow the walker's current location and the route so far on an in-app map, in near real time. Note that this is not available while recording on Apple Watch alone.
Can I log when my dog poops?
